Nanea says...

HI! - emphatically, usually accompanied by a backwards wave. This was her first word within context. She says hi when she sees daddy in bed in the morning, when she sees a door open, as we're walking up to the babysitter's house. When I was trying to see if she would say "Kaika" (Ikaika, babysitter's oldest - 18 yr. old - son, whom she LOVES), she cooed, "Hi, Hi, Hi..."

Ball - sounds like "BA," but we know she's saying ball because she is normally holding one up as she says it.

Bubble - sounds like "BA-BOO." Also said in context, in the bath and when the babysitter was blowing bubbles outside when I picked her up yesterday.

BO - as in our good friend, Bo Masuyama. And she says it loud and enthusiastically much to his delight. This was her second word.
