Long Time Gone...

Yes, once again, I've been remiss in posting. But, we've been busy taking pictures (stay-tuned...)! The McMullens were here visiting on their annual trip from Virginia, so we had a lot of fun spending time in Waikiki the past 10 days or so. Which incidentally, is my excuse for lack of posting.
Nanea turned 8 months old yesterday, and just to prove that she is getting older and independent, she pulled herself up to standing for the first time (with the help of the bar stool). She thought this was a GREAT trick and continued to do this the rest of the day, in spite of a few good "bonks." Looks like she's mama's girl and has a pretty hard head.
Nanea also had her first Nalu-ride, which Nalu didn't much appreciate, but the rest of the Allens enjoyed immensely. Nanea thought is was just hysterical, and screamed with laughter. I will definitely try to get this captured on video for you all. We joked that maybe we'll make one of those harnesses that they put on elephants for people to ride on them. I'm kidding. Don't turn me into the ASPCA.
