Nanea's 1st Trip to the Dentist

Before (showing off those pearly whites, just like we practiced)

And after...(well, during)
Needless to say, she did NOT enjoy having her teeth brushed. And all he did was brush. With a toothbrush. I think it was the having to lie down in a stranger's lap. That's me physically restraining her in my lap while getting kicked. So much for going to a pediatric dentist to make the experience good!
She stopped crying immediately when she was able to sit up. Smiled, waved at the dentist and assistant. Loved her new toothbrush and rubber ducky. Said BYE to all the receptionists. She is just very dramatic.
Her mean parents giggled almost the whole time. And, Noa brought along the camera for prosperity. Could work as a bribe later on in life...you never know.
Oh, and she as 12 teeth. 12! We only knew about 10 of them. Shows you how good we are at looking in her mouth and sympathizing with the whole teething process.

these pics are WAY cool and yes, they serve another "deeper" purpose when you need 'em.

hee hee hee

p.s. kamalu didn't think the pics were funny 1 bit (lol).

Oh My!
Who likes it when the dentist makes you go horizontal. I agree with my granddaughter
Seems like it may have been okay, other than having a stranger brush her teeth.
She likes it better when Mom does it!

Love
MOM

On other hand, maybe she just didn't want Dad to take pictures when she was in that position!

OMIGOSH! Makes me want to search for the pictures of Kajla during her first dentist trip.

I wish my dental hygienist wore an aloha shirt.

So jealous...

ha, ha, that was the dentist. With cool goggles too...maybe that's the reason for the screaming. The hygenist (or was she an assistant?) wore Dr. Suess scrubs. Very cool.
