ha, ha, I couldn't resist. Noa was recently promoted to Major, and had his "pin" ceremony and party today. For some reason this is the first time I've ever attended one of these. Although we were married the last time he was promoted, I cannot remember going to something like this. I am so proud of him, and in spite of Makena crying and trying her best to get up on the stage with her dad when everyone was standing at attention and listening to the official "decree," and Nanea talking throughout, I was able to catch some of it. His commander talked about what a great pilot he is, and how everyone wants to fly with him. That was amazing :). Congrats Noa!
