3 year checkup and a day at the beach

We started out the day with Dr. Lance for Nanea's 3-year old check up. Aside from a TB test, and flu shot (from which now she has a fever!), everything was pretty routine. She was a brave girl, and only cried a tiny bit, so she got a treat of a pancake breakfast at Big City Diner. She continues to track well on her growth chart. Nanea is 29.5 pounds (25th percentile) and 38.5 inches tall (80th percentile). Dr. Lance was amazed at her speaking and asked what school she is attending (she is not!). The previous times we've gone to see him, she's hardly spoken to him (pretending to be shy), so this was a big suprise to him.

After the doctor, we headed out to Waianae to spend the day with Uncle Liko and Aunty Sonia. We spent 3 hours at the beach!
