Nanea's Favorite Books

Nanea loves books. Especially touchy-feely books like these. It's amazing that kids just KNOW that parts of the books have texture. This whole series is great. There is "that's not my teddy, that's not my car, that's not my princess," and so on and so on and so on.

Another favorite is "Peekaboo Kisses." For one, she loves peekaboo, and two, loves kissing her book, and herself in the mirror, but that's another story...She doesn't give kisses very willingly to other people, and really has to be in the mood, but sometimes she'll surprise you. Her book however, she KISSES. Most of the time it's more like licking, but to her it's a kiss nonetheless.

She's a great little reader and will bring you a book and sit in your lap as you read it. Now we just have to get daddy into the whole reading thing, since those of you that know him know that he HATES reading. At least these have lots and lots of pictures!

I don't know about Daddy not liking to read. When I was there and she got a book, he would read even when she went on to other things that caught her interest. Then she would go back and turn the page for him.
We thought that was hilarious.
But you are right, she does like her books!!!
