Pics from our So Cal Adventure!
We had a great time in Southern California last week! We started out in San Diego with our good friend's The Sinnetts. While there, I got to visit my friend from high school Hip Mama B while Noa and Uncle Eric golfed. We went to eat Mexican food and went to an awesome playground right on the beach in Encinitas. After the fact, we both realized we are terrible mothers and did not get a single picture of our kids. Her son Lucas is just over 3 and such a great little guy! We had such fun catching up. We visited Sea World for free (perks of being military!) and ate lots of great food and had such a nice time visiting and seeing our friend's gorgeous home. They had a playground right in their neighborhood, where we spent the majority of our time.

Favorite past-time, sliding!

After San Diego, we drove up to Anaheim to go to Disneyland. After practically growing up there, and not going there for over 10 years, it was mind boggling to see the changes. California Adventure, what? Downtown Disney? These things did not exist. Tutu and Grandpa met us there and again, we went for free (thanks this time to the fact that my dad worked there for 12 years, and still has many, many friends there - thanks Uncles Roger and Stan!). I initially thought Nanea would be too young for a Disneyland trip, but was I ever wrong! She LOVED it. Did you catch LOVED. She had a terrific time and especially loved all the live music. We could have just followed all of grandpa's buddies around the park and she would have been more than happy. Nanea was completely enraptured with Tutu on this trip, and continutes to ask for her, "I want Tutu." So, Tutu needs to come visit!

Nanea got to be the guest conductor of The Disneyland Band

So excited waiting in line for Dumbo (click on this pic to see her expression!)

Here we go!
