We're back!
And we had a GREAT time! It was a very, VERY long trip for such a short amount of time, but definitely more than worthwhile none the less.
We packed in a lot in the 5 full days we were there. We went to the circus at the Verizon Center in D.C. (Nanea obviously loved it as pictured here in her nice leather seat in the private box we were in. Box seats at the circus you may ask? Yes, we know who to hang out with :)!!!). We had lunch with an old dear friend of mine, Rachel, whom I've known since 7th grade but haven't seen since mid-college sometime (well over 10 years now). She lives in D.C., and we got to meet her husband Adam, whom we liked very much. I also got to do a fair amount of shopping which was lovely. Nothing like shopping on the mainland at outlets and Bloomingdales sales. Thanks Holly :). More pictures to come! I have them downloaded, but just don't feel like adding to this post now. Look out for them tomorrow!
