Thumbs and posings

We went to Nanea's 6-month dental checkup and all is well.  With the exception of the thumb-sucking.  We have been reminding her that thumbs are only for sleeping, but apparently it is already evident to the dentist that she is still thumb-sucking with the position of her 2 front top teeth.  He said that we don't have to use "extreme measures" until about age 5, but to continue to discourage it nonetheless.  So, operation no-sucking-thumbs has begun in our household.

On another note, Nanea thinks that she now has to pose for all pictures.  Preferably with her hands up in the air, like her "ta-da" at gymnastics.  It takes a lot of prodding to get her to just stand/sit normally and smile.  Ah well, it's cute nonetheless!
