Nanea's new favorite seat in the house?

Nanea was super tired this evening since she did not nap (she has been getting sneaky, and trying to trick us into believing she naps when she is really very quietly playing in her room or "reading" in bed. The tell-tale sign that she doesn't actually fall asleep is the somewhat short duration - maybe 45 min to an hour vs. an hour and a half to 2 hours of a real nap - and the inevitable grouchiness and craziness that ensues towards late afternoon/early evening).

So, she was sitting watching a movie while I was getting dinner together, and Makena was playing on the floor. Nanea quietly got down from the couch and without a word sprawled across Makena, all the while continuing to suck her thumb and not take her eyes off of the tv. Noa called me over for the photo op:

You'd think that Makena would not like this and cry with the full weight of her older sister on her. But, she loved it. She was laughing hysterically the whole time. She LOVES Nanea.

Hilarious and very familiar! How do you get Nanea to not call your name out a million times when she doesn't fall asleep. Will actually sleeps about 2 or 3 or 4 times a week but the other days he calls for me incessantly and has requests for water, books, bathroom etc. He does stay in his bed but his naps have become such a loud hassle (which rouse Andrew) when he doesn't sleep.
