"I'm a BIG girl!!!"

Today we were at the park, and there were TONS of kids, all vying for 1 swing at the playground.  Of course, this is the only thing Nanea wanted to do, and she was very grouchy about having to wait her turn.  After maybe 10 minutes or so, she finally got her chance, and had about 5 min. of swinging.  I eventually made her get off to give someone else a chance, and she begrudgingly jumped off.  She stood and wanted to wait for another turn, but there were just too many kids not being supervised so I told her we needed to leave.  This did not fly with her, but that's another story.  When I finally got her to follow us, we heard a girl shouting, "little girl, little girl."  Nanea stopped in her tracks and yelled, "MOMMY!!!  THAT GIRL KEEPS CALLING ME LITTLE GIRL."  I said, well Nea, you are a little girl, to which she replied, "I am NOT a little girl, I'm a big girl."  Can't argue that one...

ha ha!!!

and i'm also giggling because we went to the playground and we had 10 open swings available (all of them) because it was so cold and windy. i WISH we had to wait for a swing!
