Java Jive (this one's for Mikie)

As you can tell from her face at the beginning, she was annoyed because we had to keep starting over because the song would start before I could start recording.  I'm laughing at the end because I didn't know she actually knew what a "bow" was.  She constantly surprises and amazes me...

We took a few liberties with the words of the song, since I couldn't remember them, but for the life of me I cannot get her to say "Java Jive," she always said "Jamba Juice."  Nanea LOVES to sing, and even makes up her own songs.  A popular one right now is "A Beautiful Day."  It goes something like this: "it's a beautiful day, a beautiful day, you can have a great day, when you play with your friends..."  It's constantly changing, but the gist of it is normally the same.

this is fantastic! ah, a little night owl in the making. the vassar education is on the horizon, i see. she is too funny!

this is hilariously cute!! LOVE it. (and i love the song and jamba juice so it was right up my alley)

this is like total talent. watch out american idol, she's on her way!

This is not good. This song was the bane of my existence at college, and now you're teaching your incredibly cute daughter to sing it. Not fair.

In other news, I'm going to be in HI on May 17th. Not sure if you're on the East Coast by then, but I'd love to see you and the kids if you're not.
