"Trunky Elephant"

Mikie mentioned that she sent something for the kids that said "cheeky monkey," which to me, referred to Makena with her chubby cheeks.  I've been calling her cheeky monkey ever since.  So, when I was telling Nanea this, since I thought she would think it was funny (and she did!!), she looked at Makena and said, "You trunky elephant!!!"  And, laughed hysterically.  I asked her, "why are you calling her trunky elephant?  does she have a long nose?"  I don't know, but I thought that her connection from "cheeky monkey" to "trunky elephant" was quite brilliant.  Then again, I'm her mom, and what mom doesn't think their kid is brilliant :)?

Nope, not just you. That kid is brilliant! (I promise to actually PUT the cheeky monkey thing in the package the next time I send something and not just wax poetic about it in the card!!)
